it's our responsibility to be nice to each other.

all throughout school, teachers were cruel and they said "that's what the real world is like." they threw away late papers, they were condescending to people who needed help, they refused to let people go to the bathroom. all of this was in the name of preparing us for "the real world."

and now that I'm approaching "grown up," I've found out that there isn't a "real world." at least, not how they said there would be. we were always living in the real world, even as kids.

and even though being older (or working a job, or living alone, or whatever your criteria for being in the "real world" are) can suck, we can make the world nicer. being jaded or mean isn't being more "real." it's so nice to be able to make the world around me better.

it's our responsibility to be nice, especially if people say that we shouldn't be.

Fuck self-sufficiency. It's time for Interdependence. Always offer help and always accept it. Cook meals for the people you love. Grow fruits and vegetables and give them to your neighbors. The "independent" person is merely the perfect version of a Consumer, eating directly from the palms of Corporation. Fuck self-sufficiency. Need one another.

So So So excited.. Like the second you uttered the words, nervous and quiet, all scared that he would be mad.. But he was the complete opposite! He was more excited than anything, really. He immediately wanted to contact people that he trusted, if it was up to him he’d contact the entire world about the arrival of his spawn, but thinking logically, he was a hero and needed to be careful.. Loves on you the entire pregnancy, and makes cute little cards, sending them to people you both trusted, to inform them of the new arrival of the baby!
